Project Scope: Complete commercial sewer, drainage, and utility interior buildout for the Visionworks retail medical facility at The Mall at Robinson in Pittsburgh, PA.
Our team completed a full sub-slab commercial infrastructure installation, cutting the concrete retail floor to route a heavy-duty 4-inch no-hub cast iron sewer line in the ditch. The main lines were secured using mission bands, a specialized wye, 45-degree elbows, and 90-degree elbows directly beneath the structural steel stud walls. Above-ground plumbing was engineered for strict code compliance and commercial accessibility (ADA). We installed an ADA-compliant bi-level drinking fountain configuration featuring a cane apron shield, a commercial mop basin on VCT flooring utilizing 1-inch copper ProPress elbows to tie in dual condensate line stubs, and a commercial hand sink with a gooseneck spout and lever handles.
The fully accessible ADA restroom fit-out was completed with a rear-vent commercial white toilet assembly, an integrated brass floor drain, a wall-hung white lavatory with a matching ceramic shroud, a chrome push-handle metering faucet, and heavy-duty stainless steel grab bars.
